Ven was embarrassed. He wasn’t certain what it was that he could feel right now. Anger? Sadness? Humiliation? He wasn’t sure. But he knew one person he could always count on was Fuu – even if she did sometimes poke fun at him for being an idiot most of the times. And naïve. She looked at him, studied him. Up and down as she walked in a circle around him, a hand on her chin. She stood in front of him again and gave one more last look down and then up.
“Galas are stupid.” She wasn’t much of a party/ball kind of girl and Ven knew this very well. But she was the only one he could count on for advice. The only one he always shared everything with. They were both like the wind, so it was fairly easy for them to be able to communicate. Though they didn’t seem like the kind of duo that would be friends, surprisingly, they got along so perfectly.
“What should I do? I wanna ask her to the Gala, because… well… I really like her. But I don’t want to embarrass myself either. What if I mess up!? What if I do something to embarrass her?! Then she won’t even want to look at me and I’ll be so --!!”
“Stop!” She snapped her fingers in front of his face, calming him down. “Quit bellyaching.” She complained as she placed her hands on her hips. She scoffed. “You like her.”
“Yes.”
“Then ask her.”
“But I already told you --!”
“I’ll help you.”
His eyes widened in surprise at that comment. He couldn’t find the right words. He pointed at her. “You’ll… teach me? Really?”
She nodded. “Sure.”
“You know how to…?”
“Keep quiet.” Her expression was a serious one.
He gave a small chuckle. “O-Okay! I’m putting my faith in you, Fuu. I promise I’ll try my very best! I’ll be grateful forever!” He gave her that smile she loved seeing on his beautiful face. That friendly and loving smile that simply seemed to shine like the very sun. She gave a small smile, one she always reserved for him only. “When do we start?”
“Tomorrow.”
“Ok. Thanks Fuu.”
She shrugged. “No problem.”
“You’re my best friend.”
She rolled her eyes but smiled afterwards. “Yeah. Same here.” They brought their hands up and placed them together, the way they always did whenever they made a promise to keep. A promise between two best friends.

I've been aching to make a pic of them, but because they irritate me as a pairing, I haven't been able to. I just kept repeating "best friends only" and sure enough, I managed to make this pic and decided to add it to my CLTCL series.
Awww, Fuu's going to help out Ven. On what? Well, that's a secret for now. 
Unless you can manage to guess. lol And as for the girl he's talking about? Well, that's also a secret for now.

Damn it! Sorry if the logo for the title doesn't look similar as the one from Skater Girls. I lost the file with that pic and I had to redo the whole logo again. It's close, but I couldn't remember what else I did. =_=
